Amish Furniture is solid wood furniture built by Amish craftsmen using locally sourced North America hardwoods. Oak, Cherry, Maple, Walnut and Hickory are the most commonly used wood species.

Isn’t most of the Amish furniture just light colored oak?

Light colored oak is certainly available but the Amish craftsmen have expanded well beyond that giving you a wide range of colors, styles and designs ranging from the traditional mission style to very contemporary.

Is there a warranty on your furniture?

We offer a lifetime warranty on all wood furniture. This covers all breaking, splitting, joints loosening etc.

Do you ship furniture to Dakota County, MN?

Yes! White glove delivery is available in all of the lower 48 states. Call us to arrange delivery to Hawaii, Alaska or international destinations.

Can I buy a floor model or do I need order my furniture?

What is rustic wood in Amish furniture?

Rustic refers to knots and other imperfections. Most wood species are available as rustic or clear (no knots). Rustic is generally more inexpensive since a wider grade of wood is used. Rustic pieces can have the knots left open or filled with an epoxy. Knots left open are not greater than 1” in diameter and do not go all the way through the board.

Is Amish furniture scratch proof?

Established in 1849, Dakota County is one of Minnesota’s original nine counties. Named after the Dakota Sioux people, the area was historically significant due to its location at the confluence of the Mississippi and Minnesota Rivers. Mendota, directly across from Fort Snelling, became the first European settlement in Minnesota. The county seat was initially in Kaposia (1853), moved to Mendota (1854), and finally settled in Hastings in 1857, where it remains today.
