– Danielle B.
“We have purchased multiple pieces (outdoor patio and indoor dining room chairs) from Covered Bridge and are very happy with all of our purchases. The quality and sturdiness, as well as the customer service from Davey, beats any other store we went to. We are looking forward to many years of using our furniture pieces that we have purchased from Covered Bridge and will continue to go to them first when other furniture is ready to be selected.”
– Nicole J.
“Best outdoor furniture out there! We have continued to purchase pieces as our needs have changed and our oldest chairs look as new as the latest additions….buy once, cry once….but you’ll never regret it!”

Questions On Our Amish Furniture? Get your answers here!
What is Amish furniture?
- Amish Furniture is solid wood furniture built by Amish craftsmen using locally sourced North America hardwoods. Oak, Cherry, Maple, Walnut and Hickory are the most commonly used wood species.
Isn’t most of the Amish furniture just light colored oak?
- Light colored oak is certainly available but the Amish craftsmen have expanded well beyond that giving you a wide range of colors, styles and designs ranging from the traditional mission style to very contemporary.
Is there a warranty on your furniture?
- We offer a lifetime warranty on all wood furniture. This covers all breaking, splitting, joints loosening etc.
Do you ship furniture to Rice County, MN?
- Yes! White glove delivery is available in all of the lower 48 states. Call us to arrange delivery to Hawaii, Alaska or international destinations.
Can I buy a floor model or do I need order my furniture?
- All floor models are for sale, however most customers choose to order. It doesn’t cost any extra to order and allows you to create the piece you want choosing your wood, stain color, and hardware.
How do I order furniture for my location in Rice County?
- We try to make it easy! Start with browsing our website or visiting our store. Once you have a style that you like you can choose your wood species, stain color and hardware and any other custom features you would like.
What should I know before I visit the store?
- The most important thing would be to know the size of the room or space you would like to furnish. If you would like to match the color of your woodwork or a piece you have already, it is helpful to bring a wood sample along or have a good picture available.
What is rustic wood in Amish furniture?
- Rustic refers to knots and other imperfections. Most wood species are available as rustic or clear (no knots). Rustic is generally more inexpensive since a wider grade of wood is used. Rustic pieces can have the knots left open or filled with an epoxy. Knots left open are not greater than 1” in diameter and do not go all the way through the board.
Is Amish furniture scratch proof?
- No, but with proper care it can remain beautiful for a long time. Any finish can be scratched, but we use the best finishes available to protect against moisture like spills and also scratching. Ask us about the different types of finishes available for your furniture.
Is your outdoor furniture built from wood as well?
- Our outdoor furniture is Amish built, but is made from recycled plastics. Find the FAQ for our outdoor furniture here.
